The Senior Procurement Engineer is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies of complex parts and optimizing production supply for new product launches or other strategic company initiatives.
The organization depends on the Supply Chain Analyst r to proactively collaborate with the global supply base and internal cross-functional team members, ensuring that components are sourced at the lowest total cost, including risk management, and that robust supply chains are developed to consistently deliver conforming products in the quantities required to meet Mercury’s global business needs.
Supplier Relationship Management: (20%)
Source and launch new product from concept stage to supporting ongoing operations. Maintain effective business communications/relationships with suppliers and internal customers to understand project/production fluctuations, to proactively disseminate relevant information to all stakeholders and meet customer expectations and business requirements.
