• Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPI) by actively participating in FMOS and driving the completion of escalations.
• Provide leadership and coordination for full shift or multiple process areas, often without a production supervisor assigned.  Responsible for understanding safe and efficient operation of all processing and packaging equipment.
• Provide support to operators on shift during vacancies, change overs or other situations.
• Drive housekeeping activities on-shift in the Process department.
• Assist Maintenance with Troubleshooting activities, Preventive Maintenance, and identify equipment that is not operating normally.
• Participate in sanitation activities including cleaning, validations, and equipment startup.
• Active back-up member on the Food Safety/Food Defense Team as well as serving on different safety committees and forums as needed to represent Shift Manager they normally back-up.

What are we looking for?

• Mechanical or Engineering background including a relevant qualification, apprenticeship, etc.
• Experience in an FMCG or high-speed production environment
• SAP literacy is desirable, or a good ability to learn new systems
• Experience within a planning function is highly desirable

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Receive and review Work requests. Determine if the Work request is complete and if the information is accurate.
• Consistently and constructively feedback to both the Operations and technical associates on work requests
• Work with the daily reliability and shift reliability teams on a daily and weekly basis to understand the SAP work orders that are to be placed on the daily and weekly work schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and generate/update Bills of Materials when required
