OVERVIEW of Role

As a Senior Principal Interaction and Visual Designer, you will be responsible representing the user in all phases of delivering Dell Technology solutions. While collaborating with key engineering and business partners, you will define and drive exceptional user-experience design deliverables across software products and design initiatives.

You will:

• Drive product design from concept to development using your abilities to distill complex problems into intuitive, clean, user friendly designs
• Create information architectures, apply and grow existing design languages and systems, while delivering the appropriate content to development partners (workflows, behavioral specifications, redlines, interactive prototypes, etc.)
• Lead design and collaborate within a world class multi-discipline and global Experience Design Group

Essential Requirements

• Undergraduate degree and 12+ years’ relevant experience or Graduate degree in a related field, plus 8+ years’ relevant experience
• Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (primarily XD, Photoshop and Illustrator), Figma and similar UI design tools
• Expert in digital interface design with an emphasis on Windows applications, mobile (iOS/Android), and web User Interfaces
• Deep experience creating solutions across different domains, customer and user groups including consumers, gamers, business end-users & information workers, IT admins and IT decision makers
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills – verbal, written, and experience engaging with executive stakeholders, product owners, development team members, business analysts/strategists, media representatives and customers

Desirable Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to process and integrate design research – usability studies, reports, trends, ethnography, user personas and related information – into design solutions and deliverables
• Ability to lead design thinking, brainstorming or other similar user-centered design workshops towards experience driven solution creation
• Deep experience with product design and development, ideally across both hardware and software
