Job Description
This is an exciting time in TUI Aviation where we are creating a new Group Operations Control Centre (TOCC) with accountability for the operational planning and 24/7 delivery and control of airline operations in the operational control window: day of operation and 8 weeks prior.
The Senior Planning Executive will support the Operational Planning Manager to ensure the near-term operational planning of TUI Aviation aircraft and programme, focusing on aspects of the TUI Group Markets’ commercial scheduling along with TUI Aviation Engineering and Maintenance planning for the period 8 weeks to 72hours prior to day of operation.
This role may be based in Luton, Zaventem, Rijswijk, Hannover or Stockholm.

ABOUT THE JOB
- To update and manage TUI Aviation airlines’ flying programmes from handover from the Markets’ Aviation Planning departments until handover to the TOCC Operational Delivery team
- Discuss and action changing maintenance requirements with TUI Aviation Engineering and Maintenance planning colleagues, reviewing both operational and commercial implications of the revised maintenance plan
- React positively and quickly to changing Market demands and business deadlines, ensuring programme changes are managed in a timely effective manner
- As directed, monitor and update slots, protecting and improving slots to the best TUI Group advantage
- Resolve conflicting priorities between the commercial and operational (maintenance, ground operations, airport scheduling, flight operations, crew) requirements, negotiating with various parties to reach the optimum solution to a conflict of interests or requirements from a TUI Aviation wide perspective
- Develop and maintain mutually informative and supportive relationships with all internal and external customers
- Provide regular, timely aircraft, programme and slot information to all stakeholders
- Act as a key link between Markets’ Commercial Aviation Planning and the TOCC for planning related activities within the TOCC operational planning window
- Participate in project and continuous improvement initiatives as required
