Job Summary:

The Senior Photographer is a member of the Yellow Shoes Content Group and will create authentic, evocative imagery that captures the magic of the global Disney vacation experience. You will work with internal creatives in addition to external agency clients and production staff. As the Senior Photographer, you will manage complex assignments and will be knowledgeable in all current photographic and social media trends, techniques, hardware, and software applications. With the mindset of an entrepreneur, you will create projects and work with autonomy.

You will report to the Manager of Creative Photography.

Responsibilities:

• Build excellent photographic content with a focus on authentic, emotional lifestyle photography
• Turn complex concepts and ideas into compelling photographic images
• Take direction from agency and clients
• Manage multi-discipline crews
• Coordinate all aspects of photo production; including casting, lighting, editing, digital input and file management, image compositing, creation of all props and sets
• Apply your unique style and creative solutions

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years creating photographic content with an emphasis on authentic, evocative lifestyle photography
• Proficiency in architectural, food, and live show/event photography
• Passion for current trends in photography and social media
• Knowledgeable in all types of camera, lighting, and post-production imaging systems
• Schedule and budget management skills
• Competence in working with art direction, clients, and production
• Experience presenting skills to all levels - senior to executive

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience creating consumer-focused photographic content with an emphasis on marketing
• Knowledge of and a passion for global Disney vacation experiences
• Proficiency with multiple image management, hardware, and software solutions and applications
• Knowledge of Business Affairs and Legal
• Experience working with Advertising/Marketing agency teams
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Global travel
