We are looking for a senior paralegal to be a part of the North American Operating Unit (NAOU) Marketing Legal Team.  This position will be an integral part of the support provided to the NAOU Marketing Functions; a fast paced and aggressive business on a broad array of advertising and marketing initiatives designed to enable brand growth.

What You’ll Do for Us:

• Review and approve all types of marketing materials across all media channels
• Assist the business in development of contracts that reflect the agreed to business terms.
• Provide supervised legal and business advice to associates with respect to day-to-day marketing legal matters including promotions and sponsorships, digital campaigns, basic privacy guardrails (collecting identifiable data), contract negotiation and drafting, social media best practices, consumer and product testing strategies, e-commerce, etc.
• Develop legal subject matter expertise in relevant practice area(s).
• Participation in additional projects  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors or Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from an ABA accredited program
• 7-10 years of experience as a transactional paralegal
• Experience in an in-house legal team is preferred
• Experience with federal, state, and local consumer protection laws and regulations preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.
• Attention to detail – ensure that all necessary steps are taken to perform tasks in a safe, effective, and quality manner.
• Flexibility – Adapt behavior in dealing with changing situations and people. Be able to adjust priorities in response to unanticipated events.
