Job Description

Shape the future of the Army as a senior nurse practitioner

Join us as a senior nurse practitioner and help people on their journey towards becoming an Army Officer. You’ll be based at the Army Officer Selection Board (AOSB) – a beautiful estate in Westbury, Wiltshire – which runs selection events for potential officer applicants for training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS). One of the early stages in the selection process is a face-to-face medical assessment to ensure that applicants are medically suitable for a role in the military. As senior nurse practitioner with a nursing background, you’ll oversee the running of the clinical aspects of the medical centre as well as undertake the preliminary clinical assessments of candidates, prior to applicants having a face-to-face medical assessment with a doctor. You’ll manage two health technicians and support them to conduct preliminary medical assessments too. Join Capita and help us recruit the Army of the future.
