The Lead Network Systems Engineer is responsible for design, implementation, and support of a highly available Enterprise network. Â
This role will require someone who is able to work Pacific Time working hours.Â
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with other technical resources to design, implement, and maintain network systems.
• Analyze business requirements to help recommend and develop technical solutionsÂ
• Design, Implement, and maintains secure wired and wireless network systems
• Work with others to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues Â
• Participate in technical evaluation process and provide formal presentations to managementÂ
• Develop test plans, implementation tasks, and project timelines in support of various projects
• Engage with hardware and software vendors to support and develop relevant solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to new and existing technical solutions
• After-hours operational support as needed
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation as needed
•    Ability to travel as required
Experience/ Qualifications:
• Experience with Cisco network and security platforms
• Experience with AWSÂ
• Experience with Aruba wireless solutionsÂ
• Experience with Infoblox DNS or other IPAM solutions is preferable
• Experience configuring QoS and WAN acceleration technologies
• Experience working with F5 or other load balancer platforms
• Experience with packet captures and other network analysis tools
• Experience with VoIP and SIP communications a plus
• Knowledge of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGPÂ
• Knowledge of IPv4 and familiarity with IPv6 protocols
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsÂ
