AWS is the World’s leading Cloud platform. Migrating to AWS provides tremendous value for Enterprises by retiring technical debt and building a strong foundation for digital transformation.


We are looking for an experienced Business Development leader whose will scale and accelerate the migration of legacy workloads to AWS and accelerate the benefits realization for our clients. This leader will:

• Demonstrate Strategic thought leadership for Cloud Migration at scale that will drive non-linear growth.
• Be part of the regions leadership team and build strategy and execution plans to help our clients’ achieve their transformation goals through accelerated migrations to AWS.
• Support Account Managers in integrating MAP into their journeys and provide expert support in discussions with clients.
• Identify and clarify eligible scope for migration with Customers, Account managers and technical teams.
• Create and drive the execution of a Migration “Go To Market” plan for various sales areas within the region. This will include market analysis, identifying target accounts and building a plan to deliver against migration targets.
• Create repeatable proposals for specific workloads and strategies, while working backwards from our clients’ needs, while providing a clearly articulated solution
• Participation in Customer activities, events and Executive briefings.
• Support Account Managers in articulating strategy and technical value of the AWS journey, while clearly positioning the AWS approach in competitive scenarios
• Remove barriers and bring in specialist resources to drive solutions for technical questions.
• Manage Escalation, where required, to drive Bias for Action and to deliver best value to our Customers.
• Support the creation of commercial propositions best suited for the Customer, drawing upon a variety of incentive programmes available.
• Work with our colleagues in EMEA and World Wide to provide feedback and proposals to modify and enhance the programme according to the needs of our Customers and market segments.
• Support the creation of Sales Enablement programmes so that Sales understands the processes and support offered by AWS to our Customers when migrating to the Cloud.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Deep Understanding of the region’s Cloud business outlook, applications migration landscape and key players in the market
· Experience of speaking at customer roundtables about Cloud and migrations
· Experience in building and executing BD campaigns at a Regional/Country level with a strong pipeline creation track record
· Experience of working backwards from Client needs and creating campaigns that address these needs
· Experience of building consensus at a country management level across virtual team and multiple functions
· Experience in deal shaping around cloud journeys and Migration of legacy workloads
· Familiarity with the 7Rs model of Applications migration and experience of shaping client conversations/campaigns around this topic
· Experience of building business cases and understanding of buying criteria in the enterprise cloud space

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2nd European Language
• Certification or Practitioner experience in migrating workloads
• Written thought leadership articles on the topic of Cloud migrations
