We are looking for a forward-thinking, strategically minded Senior Marketing Manager to join our European Strategy & Planning team. The Strategy & Planning team sits across Europe and is the interface with the US/International Marketing Strategy teams and US Studios. This team guides critical, highly varied and often ambiguous, business decisions and this role requires a mix of strategic, analytical, intuitive and creative thinking. You will have strong stakeholder management to lead large/diverse groups of teams towards consensus and strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to drive recommendations with business leaders and earn trust with colleagues across the organization. You aren’t afraid to dive head first into data, developing interpretations and implications for the business.
Key job responsibilities
• Be the go-to European lead for strategic marketing projects and initiatives, often leading these globally
• Leading on long-term portfolio planning processes, bringing together the European Portfolio strategy, partnering with our Marketing Finance lead
• Leading on long-term US Original Portfolio planning processes for Europe with our US Studios
• Partnering closely with the US Marketing Strategy and Audience Strategy team to test and roll out projects in Europe
• Reporting on macro-trends and learnings for the marketing organization that are impacting our long-term strategy
• Leveraging customer insights, data, learnings and industry changes to identify and implement new opportunities
• Developing scalable systems, processes and mechanisms that find efficiencies across teams and drive better outcomes for our customers
· Professional experience in marketing or marketing research
· Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
· Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
· Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines whilst implementing new processes for the future
• Proven ability to work with stakeholders across the business, influence peers and leaders and ability to drive toward consensus
• Significant experience working in marketing/content/corporate strategy or related roles, preferably in international/matrix organizational structures
• Proven ability to build logical story flow, particularly in written narrative form
• Experience interacting with senior leadership
• Experience working with and understanding of international territories/locales
