The Role

As the Senior Participant Marketing Manager aligned to the Employee Digital Product Area, nested within the Simplified Employee Experience domain, you will be responsible for bringing your unparalleled digital marketing expertise to a team of mobile app authorities (technologists, UXD, product management, etc.) in service to the Workplace Investing (WI) customer and WI’s leadership directive to service participants mobile-first:

Drive increased participant engagement and acquisition across mobile and digital channels

a. Identify and develop innovative methods to turn participants on to the mobile app channel; transition them away from more traditional channels and/or introduce them to us for the first time via mobile to build a permanent mobile-first behavior usage pattern. Develop creative engagement strategies for participants to onboard them to the app.

b. Develop and implement marketing programs from end to end with the KPI of driving Net Benefits mobile app downloads and engagement within the mobile channel, including in-app messaging and push notification strategy.

c. Design B2B2C sponsor sales support to highlight the impact of Fidelity’s’ mobile app and digital channels to plan sponsors. Support mobile app squads by partnering to build and communicate a compelling, differentiated employee experience to clients.

2. Optimize and publish your impact through robust measurement and testing strategies

3. Assist the design teams in building out requirements in their roadmaps so that marketing needs are accommodated over time to drive ever-greater usage

You will partner with the VP, Participant Marketing and Squad leaders supporting the Mobile App Experience and end to end Employee Digital Experience to find opportunities to improve the overall digital experience and participant digital journey. You will develop and implement campaign strategies, engagement plans, and content for brand awareness and demand generation campaigns in close partnership with the digital marketing, creative, and marketing efficiency measurement teams. In addition, you will build strategic collateral to showcase the strength of Fidelity’s digital channels to plan sponsors, to build competitive advantage and be a thought leader in the space pushing the team into emerging mobile channels and experiences.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Self-starter who can build marketing strategies and plans to lead squad’s build efforts forward and hit aggressive KPIs

Ability to think down deep into your product (NetBenefits App) and across (the entire Fidelity app experience) to rationalize strategies and lead consumers to the “right” offering at the right time and place

Demonstrated experience driving engagement and acquisition through mobile/digital marketing strategies and coordinated marketing plans; experience in SMS and Mobile in app/push required

Crafting and implementing cross channel customer engagement programs and Go-To-Market strategies

Ability to craft and articulate the digital story/value proposition to key partners

Validated program management and execution

Defining performance metrics, KPIs, lead reporting and ability to articulate insights and recommendations to leadership

Experience working with a cross functional team; including experience design, user research, analytics and business leads

Bachelor’s Degree

Mobile first native; 7+ years of mobile, digitally-focused marketing background with a consistent record of results (acquisition and engagement)

Effective communication skills, including meeting facilitation, communicating and relationship building

Self-motivated with ability to collaborate and work well in cross functional teams and meet deadlines

Outstanding level of detail orientation. Ability to lead multiple projects at once

Creative problem solving, out of the box thinking and tenacity

Translate insights and data into concrete marketing strategies and programs

Familiarity with customer segmentation, persona development, and personalization strategies

B2B2C experience a plus
