Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Job summary
At Amazon, we are working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. One customer experience that we are constantly looking to take to a new level is how we fulfill and deliver orders. We are building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Amazon Flex. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors, called delivery partners, to make deliveries to customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss, set their own schedule and deliver Amazon packages. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in tandem with our advanced logistics systems to allow delivery partners to register for the program, schedule delivery times, make deliveries, and more.

To support delivery partners, we offer products and features to enhance their experience. We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to own the end to end go-to-market (GTM) experience for these products and features within the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the GTM strategy from both a marketing and communications perspective, working with cross-functional partners to take critical aspects of the delivery partner experience to the next level. You will generate new ideas, create launch plans, and solve problems. You will have communications program management experience, excellent writing skills, and the ability to simplify complex ideas for different audiences. You will exercise extremely high judgment in narrow time frames, inject logic and care into marketing plans and delivery partner facing communications, and ensure outputs meet the highest standards. This environment will be fast-paced and often ambiguous, and we are looking for a candidate who excels in taking an idea and turning it into a full launch plan.

Key job responsibilities
* Develop and own cross-functional 12-month roadmap, leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to distill gaps and opportunities.
* Measure and track overall program performance, deep dive on specific KPIs, and author monthly and quarterly business reviews.
* Partner internally with and influence product, capacity planning, marketing, data science, and finance teams to prioritize tactics that improve delivery partner satisfaction, engagement and loyalty.
* Lead cross-functional, go-to-market strategy for new products and features in tight collaboration with product, marketing, legal and finance.
* Advocate for and collaborate on amplifying the delivery partner experience.
* Define the and manage the execution of communications. This includes defining key objectives, understanding products and program roadmaps, and driving awareness, engagement, and adoption of initiatives.
* Create high-quality, engaging communication plans for a variety of channels, including emails, FAQs, newsletters, videos, websites, announcements, etc.
* Partner with internal tech and product teams to ensure the highest quality experience for delivery partners.
* Develop, track and report metrics on the effectiveness of communications, as well as continually monitor, analyze, and tune messaging to maximize impact.

A day in the life
* You will create working backwards launch plans for various products and feature launches.
* No two days will be the same, as one day you may be creating the written communications to coincide with a feature launch, and the next day you may be working with finance to understand the financial impact of launching the feature.
* You will be able to easily navigate between creating a tactical launch project management plan, creative driving facing content, and strategy documents for leadership.
