THE TEAM
ASOS Marketplace is fundamental in supporting the ASOS mission to become the world's number-one destination for fashion-loving 20-somethings. The platform directly connects ASOS browsers and buyers to over 1000 Independent brands and Vintage sellers, who together provide a unique and curated offer of new, on-trend items as well as vintage, upcycled and recycled items.
THE ROLE
The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for ASOS Marketplace’s entire content and marketing output, across all buyer and seller-facing channels. The Senior Marketing Manager will manage a team of three, who will each oversee execution and performance of key marketing channels (i.e. performance marketing, social and CRM).
Working as part of the growing ASOS Marketplace department, and reporting into the Marketplace Business Success Lead, you will be both a leader and team player with an enthusiasm to actively develop and execute the content and marketing vision for ASOS Marketplace, ultimately driving awareness, conversion and retention for both sellers and buyers. You will be a creative and strategic thinker who can manage multiple, varied projects while delivering against brand objectives and stringent trade KPIs. You are also someone who enjoys working cross-functionally and is enthusiastic about leveraging partnership opportunities to drive awareness of ASOS Marketplace (e.g. partnering with ASOS.com). We are a small team and agile team, so you must enjoy working at pace, using available resources efficiently and be highly self-motivated.

Largely this is across our core marketing activity, but you will also be responsible for ensuring external comms created by any part of the Marketplace team are on-brand
Ensuring we always have the most interesting content and messages going out across all our channels, that are in tune with the ASOS Marketplace audience
Shaping the direction of any new site content, look and feel updates and seasonal refreshes
Creating engaging content and campaigns which serve to position ASOS Marketplace as the best place to shop vintage and independent fashion. There are content creators within your team, but as we are a small operation, content creation will often form part of your role too
Leveraging relationships with key teams in ASOS to gain regular coverage for ASOS Marketplace across ASOS channels and in press releases, while ultimately ensuring the platform is positioned as a meaningful extension of the ASOS proposition
Producing detailed analysis, weekly, monthly and quarterly, on channel performance, and proactively proposing actions to maximise ROI
Collaborating with the Product and Tech team on buyer experience improvements and supporting on new software launches and site updates with content/copy where required
