We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Marketing Manager to join the UK Marketing team. This exciting position will play a central role in developing the UK Homepage strategy and delivering a fantastic experience for all customers who visit the Amazon.co.uk website.
We are looking for someone who has previous digital marketing experience, excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to dive into data and draw and act on insights and a passion for customer experience. You will need to manage multiple competing priorities with a high level of judgement on what the right method is for delivering results against complex business problems and be able to communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership.
In this strategic and high-visibility role, you will be responsible for increasing customer engagement with Homepage and driving long-term engagement with Amazon, whilst continuously driving process improvements and efficiencies. You will own the strategic content calendar, prioritisation of content requests, testing and optimisation plans and execution and continual monitoring and reporting to identify new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Own the Amazon.co.uk Homepage customer experience and performance, setting and owning input and output goals, aligned to UK business priorities.
2. Manage the calendar for time-sensitive and high impact above-the-fold Homepage placements, including Homepage Hero – the most viewed and valuable placement on the UK’s #1 shopping site.
3. Monitor Homepage performance against goals, reporting through regular business reviews and utilising insight to identify opportunities for improvement.
4. Partner with teams across the business to develop marketing and content plans for Homepage, sharing expertise to optimise customer experience and Homepage performance.
5. Collaborate with WW product and tech teams to launch new and optimise existing content placements for Amazon.co.uk.
6. Act as EU SME on defined Homepage priorities, including owning a large project to implement upper funnel placements and reporting.
7. Own planning and execution of Homepage merchandising for key strategic deal and seasonal events, collaborating with WW design and product teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
- Professional experience in digital marketing and program management, with minimum 5-years experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, targeting and a proven track record of customer obsession.
- Ability to demonstrate backbone when dealing with multiple stakeholders.
- MBA
- Knowledge of SQL and data presentation skills.
- Technical fluency: comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, schedule trade-offs and new opportunities with technical team members.
