The Role:
Work with a collaborative and highly engaged team focused on the employee participant strategy and operations (ESO) across our Workplace Investing (WI) marketing chapter. As Senior Marketing Manager you will help drive our marketing modernization efforts by introducing new digital capabilities that foster personalized 1:1 communication with employee participants. Applying a data-driven approach to our marketing efforts, you will test and learn whenever possible and explore customer insights to enhance our communications and deliver a fulfilling customer experience that drives business results.
In close partnership with the marketing director, you will help roll out new digital capabilities and 1:1 marketing opportunities for our employee marketers to leverage at scale. In this role you will:
Think end-to-end through lifecycle strategies: Assist 30+ marketers in defining lifecycle strategies and help them identify the critical customer journeys to be built/tested as we modernize our infrastructure to more fully leverage Salesforce. Represent the WI employee marketing team in enterprise-wide discussions around modernization and cloud migration, document use cases and business requirements and coordinate project management and status updates between marketing, technology, data and operations teams. Innovate and pilot new digital channels and platforms: Introduce an SMS/text messaging MVP by partnering across our product teams, legal and compliance, relationship management and marketing automation. Document the process, key learnings, and guidelines. Work across the Workplace Digital Experience (WDX) domain to collaborate with content strategy, UXD and squad leads on the messaging strategy and governance. Be the point of contact with our marketing execution, relationship management, measurement & analytics and our marketing partners as we test, learn and evolve the SMS offering. Coordinate content messaging: Serve as a point of contact between the ESO and content strategy teams to identify synergies and elevate this content to WI direct and social channels to deliver on our customer experience value prop. Partner closely with analytics and SEM teams to understand the type of content our customers are looking for. Partner with the Director to prioritize that content across our digital and social strategy and influence teams to execute that content across channels. Support the roll out of a new social strategy across Workplace Investing: Collaborate on the broad social media strategy across paid and organic for our WI employee participants. Manage a regular cadence of ceremonies and monthly knowledge sharing sessions across the business unit (e.g. bi-weekly office hours, monthly ‘social lunch bunch’, content planning with PI). Partner with digital analytics and social monitoring teams to isolate customer insights to drive content calendar. Work with cross-enterprise partners to document and track upcoming submissions and calendar updates. Manage the learning agenda and execute a variety of test and learn strategies as we expand our paid social media offering across WI. Serve as an advisor to streamline our content speed to market processes, contribute to Marketing U digital skills framework and champion/encourage our marketers’ channel innovation.
The Expertise & Skills you bring
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in marketing
Bachelor's degree
Experience developing, executing, and/or optimizing social and digital strategies (for a large and/or regulated company is highly preferred). Experience with paid media strategy, SEM, and/or retargeting a plus.
An understanding of existing and emerging social media and digital platforms with experience finding (or supporting) opportunities to scale or build new capabilities
Passionate about working with marketing technology and technologists to build and launch new capabilities and to test and deploy communications; Salesforce a plus
Extreme facility with data, data manipulation, data presentation, both written and oral
Desire to stay on top of industry trends, competitor insights, and measurement data to provide informed recommendations to team members
Passionate about teamwork with an appreciation for the value of diverse opinions and different skillsets
Strong social skills, including the ability to work across the organization and communicate, influence, and negotiate effectively with partners.
Outstanding project/program management, and problem-solving capabilities
Curious and eager to learn, driven by data and intrigued to uncover customer insights
