E2 Drives continuously improves the manufacturing efficiency of its Drive Unit, for the current generation and the next ones. The tech company is based in Genval (a nice place in the South-East of Brussels) and can count on a team of 15 young, dynamic and smart professionals.In order to continue the growth of E2 Drives, we are looking for a (m/f):Senior Manufacturing Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the CEO, you are working t between the development and production phase.You are in charge of the mechanical design validations, suppliers follow-up and prototyping process. Your main responsibilities are: Sourcing and evaluation of new production partners and suppliers, for prototyping (and production).Coordinate and support Tier 1 suppliers, mainly during the validation plan and the production trial runs Lead the procurement, supply, assembly, validation and assembly of drive unit prototypes Coordinate and follow the validation plan (trough an external partner)Review part designs and assembly for manufacturability (DFM)Support the mechanical design team when needed. Profile:Master in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent through experience. More than 3 years experience in automotive, powertool, home appliances or similar An experience in industrialization and subcontractors production management. Previous experience in design of electromechanical products is a good asset.Good knowledge of Solidworks or a comparable software. Attracted by working in a small and agile team and by solving problems .Analytical mind, autonomous, proactive and result-oriented.Very good command of English. The command of French is a plus.
