In this role, you will:

• Main point of contact and Lead for issues relating to financial crime in respect of Correspondent Banks, MSBs, TPPPs and Affiliates for Europe.
• Provide mentorship on Financial crime related matters to key stakeholders including Global/Regional and Local Financial Crime Compliance, Global Banking and Commercial Banking Lines of Business (LoB’s).
• Identify and mitigate financial crime risk and thematic issues within the Correspondent Banking portfolio.
• Provide SME support to the ongoing development of monitoring and analytical tools that support Correspondent Banking activity.
• Collaborate with the wider Financial Crime Compliance/Financial Crime Risk Function, LoBs and other Functions to ensure a clear understanding and transparency in regards to FC risks associated with Correspondent Banking.
• Assist with the identification of inconsistencies in the Financial Crime Compliance framework across regions/countries and LOBs.
• Advise on systematic controls around Correspondent Banks, MSBs, TPPPs and Affiliates.
• Support audit/assurance reviews relating to Correspondent Banks, MSBs, TPPPs and affiliates by providing SME input.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of Correspondent Banking and accompanying awareness of payments related and transaction banking services.
• Strong understanding and proven experience of all aspects of Financial Crime.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with experience of dealing with executives at all levels including the capacity to articulate the case for risk management and policy in the language of business.
• Ability to lead change, by joining up with the other teams in Risk and Business globally.

The base location for this role is: London / Hybrid – with the expectation of 1-2 days in the office per week
