Job Description:
You blend strategic thinking with a passion for delivering results, while being laser focused on providing value to our customers, participants, and internal business partners. As a member of the PPA-W Look Ahead team, you will collaborate with your team and our business partners to establish strategic direction for PPA-W by conducting market, competitive and client and participant research and/or analysis to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities. You will partner with other associates in an Agile structure to influence strategic decisions and roadmaps and complete specific deliverables. You will also be committed to maintaining and developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role.
The Value You Deliver
Work with Product Area leadership to maintain a backlog of opportunities by developing business cases, product roadmaps, eventual Go-to-Market strategies, and Thought Leadership
Work across the Product Areas to facilitate prioritization, resourcing, and outcomes
Communicate externally with partners to ensure teams are building the right solutions to meet customer needs, communication status and buffers team from potential distractions
Build credibility and trust with a diverse set of partners to influence product area goals and visions
Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to bring an outside-in perspective to help shape strategy and inform prioritization for the Product Areas
Demonstrate outside-in insights to develop hypothesis and identify top bets
Lead ideation, shaping of new strategies
Incubate early stage concepts to test and refine market potential
Develop executive level communications for internal and external use
Participate in and facilitate regular strategic planning discussions (e.g., Objectives / KPIs, MYP )
The Team
As part of the PPAW Strategy Product Area, the Look Ahead Team is responsible for shaping the product areas next 2-3-year strategy, defining the future roadmap, establishing priorities and resourcing needs. You will work in partnership with the PPAW Product Area Leaders and members of their teams, and other leaders across Retail and Workplace businesses. By promoting Agile and Fidelity leadership principles, you will sustain an innovative culture.
The Expertise You Have
Experience working in a matrixed, cross-enterprise / business unit environment
Financial services experience preferred, but not required
Agile experience preferred, but not required
Bachelor’s Degree with 5 + years of proven experience within strategy or consulting
