Job Description
Responsibilities
- Build a strategic vision and roadmap to develop best in class content and programs that drive our mission to support URM startup founders.
- Ensuring all external and internal enablement events, collateral and internal comms meet/exceed the bar and maximize the quality and efficiency of content produced by the team.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of resources and materials (e.g. internal SharePoint sites, history and stats about URM and URM customer success stories), establishing forums for open dialog (e.g. Listening Days), and rolling out opportunities to amplify impact in and around the URM startup community
- Aligning closely with existing marketing, communications, D&I teams and others to ensure consistent messaging and themes are delivered internally and externally.
- Create a center of excellence where startups, VCs, Accelerators and other ecosystem partners can access resources on how to weave DEI through all aspects of their workplaces, including onboarding and training, hiring and recruiting practices
- Partner with internal stakeholders to grow awareness through the creation and delivery of opportunities for meaningful engagement with across geographic regions
- Develop insights from qualitative and quantitative session and experience data and partner with Product and other Program teams to define scalable solutions to ensure alignment between strategic decision-making and impact.  
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of leadership experience working with or within startups and strategic experience from a D&I, community/ecosystem development, or applicable marketing perspective. Experience managing digital communities of professionals a plus.
- Experience with crowd sourcing or community-based methodologies, loyalty programs or leading membership functions. 
- Executive presence and ability to influence business leaders through business value propositions
- Strong network and visibility amongst VCs, entrepreneurs and key influencers in the startup ecosystem and D&I community
- Highly adaptable, and strong collaborator, fierce advocate and influencer
- Demonstrated ability to excel in an innovative, startup-like, fast-paced environment, with rapid exploration and ability to execute
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous high-priority projects (often including project management of cross-functional “virtual†teams)
- Bachelors degree or equivalent required - MBA or post-graduate degree is a bonus
- Location - anywhere in the UK with committed ability to travel at least 20%.
