Job Summary:

Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products' (DPEP's) in-house Digital Media Strategy & Activation team is looking for a Senior Manager, Social Media Strategy & Activation. Reporting to the Director, you will lead our DPEP in-house paid and organic Social Media Strategy & Activation team (22 team members in total). There will be 3 distinct teams reporting into you: DPEP YouTube team, Parks Social team, and CPGP Social team.

We directly manage all paid and organic activity in several ad manager platforms including Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and Sprinklr (for organic). You will lead the Social partner, platform, and technology vision.

The Social media space involves many different partners and players across the company. You will play an important partnership role in working across our organization including with our in-house creative agency Yellow Shoes, in-house Analytics team (CIMA), Public Affairs, Public Relations, and others. There is also opportunity to partner more holistically across the company with other departments outside DPEP.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead DPEP YouTube team, Parks Social team, and CPGP Social team (includes Affiliate Marketing)
  • Organizational expert on paid and organic social strategy
  • Build partnerships across DPEP organization with Yellow Shoes, CIMA, Public Affairs, and Public Relations
  • Work on holistic social partnerships across company including Disney+ and others
  • Chart organizational and team vision for mastering the ever-growing and complex paid/organic Social space
  • Lead Social partner, platform, and technology vision
  • Introduce the most recent Social Media approaches into our organization

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years digital marketing experience
  • Paid and organic Social media expert
  • Managerial experience who can lead the team across the complex yet integrated DPEP Social Media landscape
  • Cross-channel expertise beyond Social to help guide larger digital media strategies

Required Education

Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience. Any Marketing, Business, Social Media, Analytics, or Statistics degree/background is a plus.
