The Sr Manager, Service Network is expected to build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and ensure proper onboarding completion for new and outsourced vendors. The Sr Manager, Service Network serves as the main point of contact for all vendors to ensure compliance checks and risk assesments have been completed. The Sr Manager, Service Network owns the vendor relationship on behalf of the company and will act as the liason between the company and the third-party vendors.
The Sr Manager, Service Network is expected to collaborate with other areas of the business to ensure proper execution of all contracts between the company and vendors for a seamless and consistent experience.
PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES
• Processes on-boarding of new third-party outsourced maintenance vendors and maintains compliance documentation for all existing vendors.
• Collaborates with vendor representatives to request/process necessary and appropriate due diligence documentation based on type of services being provided, such as Certificates of Insurance (“COIâ€) and ensures appropriate risk assessments have been completed.
• Serves as a main point of contact for all business-critical vendors to ensure continued compliance and no lapses in coverage.
• Performs appropriate and timely follow up on outstanding due diligence items for all vendor relationships.
• Reviews and performs assessments of due diligence documentation for all new and existing vendor relationships as outlined by DFS policy.
• Works with the vendors to facilitate timely completion of all Vendor On-Boarding Packets.
• Coordinates review and proper execution of all contracts and associated documents between new vendors and DFS Legal teams.
• Documents evidence of Legal approval and other assessments in the appropriate file repositories.
• Processes and communicates approvals and vendor terminations according to Policy.
• Serves as an internal main point of contact for questions pertaining to vendor management and the regulatory guidance.
• Develops strong relationships with business (vendor) relationship managers to ensure visibility to and understanding of key vendor risk areas.
• Performs initial risk review / assessment on new vendor relationships based on services provided and potential risk areas identified.
• Performs annual risk assessment and control assurance activity for existing vendor relationships as per policy.
• Ensures the timely update and maintenance of all vendor information and documentation.
• Addresses reported risk events and evaluates any potential risk exposure.
• Performs quality assurance assessments, as it relates to the new vendor approval process, policy and standards.
• Support ad-hoc projects related to the DFS priorities and initiatives
Qualifications:
• 10 years of experience in retail automotive sales, service, or management and BA/BS degree or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in a management/leadership role
• Experience in positions demonstrating the ability to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to external and internal contact.
• Common knowledge of the trucking industry; experience with fleet maintenance or other transportation experience in automotive/trucking would be very helpful
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Excel and Word, and the ability to learn new systems quickly, (such as DFS IT Systems, including Web Wrench, MobileFrame, RO Writer)
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and apply initiative and creativity on projects
• Positive attitude, good instincts, and self-motivation
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance a variety of tasks
• Ability to act with a sense of urgency to fix immediate issues as well as document and address solutions for the long-term.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
