The Corporate Risk team is seeking a Senior Manager in Risk and Data Analytics with some knowledge or experience in Data Science to help develop their analytics, AI, Natural Language Processing, and data mining capabilities.

The Role

This individual will lead the effort to build the Risk Data Analytics program for the Corporate Risk organization for our new, dedicated Emerging Risk program.  They will partner with various groups within the Risk and Compliance community and technology partners to develop the process for gathering, cleaning and analyzing data from across the firm to identify existent and emerging risks.

The successful candidate will be capable of simply communicating what may be complex analytical techniques to business leaders and understanding practices and risks across widely disparate lines of business.  They will show the ability to work on multiple research projects while continually enhancing the analytic capability of the organization as a whole and will thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar field is a plus
  • Strong understanding of Machine Learning & Deep Learning algorithms; experience in Big Data and NLP
  • Experience accessing, extracting and analyzing large volumes of structured and unstructured data from a variety of sources; familiarity with ETL tools such as Alteryx
  • Experience performing data exploration using visualization and other techniques to identify anomalies, trends, etc.; proficiency with visualization software such as Tableau or Domo
  • Experience developing supervised and unsupervised machine learning models in an enterprise environment; statistical and programming skills, such as Python and R
  • Experience working with AWS’ data-related cloud services (S3, RDS, Sagemaker, etc.) and Snowflake
  • 3-5+ years of related work experience; Risk and compliance experience a plus
