Job Description

This role will provide Quality, Safety and Environment (QSE) governance leadership for the North America Operating Unit (NAOU). It will leverage experience and knowledge to lead a risk-based strategy to deliver high quality standards expected by our Company, Consumers and Customers.  Partner with Bottlers, Corporate, Suppliers, Procurement and other Cross-Functional partners to deliver against the strategy and deliver the needs of the business today and in the future.  Motivate and mobilize the team to deliver against NAOU and QSE objectives.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Lead and advocate QSE governance objectives and strategies across bottler, franchise, and supply chain leadership.
  • Leverages data (e.g. audit, historical compliance, etc.) to take a risk-based approach to prevent and mitigate QSE risks in our manufacturing system.   Partner with Bottlers, Global Quality, Suppliers, Co-manufacturers and Company Owned facilities to keep our promise to consumers (available, safe and high-quality products). 
  • Communicate quality, safety, food safety, and environmental performance and initiate action from fit-for-purpose governance & metrics to drive compliance with system partners and suppliers.
    • Benchmark and collaborate globally with QSE peers and partners enabling best practices and networks
  • Ensure that QSE talent is developed, key people are in key positions
  • Partner and support product and packaging innovation platforms with bottler capability for QSE risk mitigation
  • Drive effective corrective and preventative actions with bottlers and production facilities in response to market actions and recalls.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 10 years’ experience in Technical/QSE operations
  • Proven track record in leading diverse QSE/SC teams responsible for quality standards for products, packaging, ingredients, materials, and manufacturing
  • Familiar with auditing standards and best practices such as ISO, GSFI, FSMA, HACCP
  • Proven ability in evaluating existing process & identifying more efficient and impactful ways to achieve company quality goals in a transformative way
  • Experience in leveraging data to drive a rigorous risk-based approach to direct work and to make grey-area decisions
  • Influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills
