Highlights:

As the Senior Manager of Product Management, you ensure client satisfaction by defining and launching innovative product developments. You are passionate about leading development processes from ideation through launch for all lines of the business. You excel at ad hoc reporting and guiding cross-functional teams to gather input and author product requirements. You excel at working with engineering teams on technical product specifications, engaging operational stakeholders and collaborating with process teams to optimize the end-to-end client experience.

You combine your expertise in client business requirements and industry leading architecture to drive enterprise-wide innovation. You continuously improve the product development lifecycle through a strong understanding of Agile, DevOps and other development methodologies. You thrive in an office environment guiding several projects simultaneously using strong leadership, communication and management skills. You report directly to the Director of Systems Integration for goals, guidance and assistance.

What you will do:

  • Encourage company-wide excellence by actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.
  • Create a unique organization and market position through the application of industry best product development processes and translating them into the appropriate steps for a product plan.
  • Develop the communication for stakeholders and translate process goals into specific sub-processes with the necessary documentation through cross-departmental information gathering.
  • Support product development processes by proactively identifying analyses related to project success.
  • Develop product strategies depending on new services or features to drive financial results and work with Engineering, Product teams and stakeholders to implement the strategies.
  • Improve technology offerings by leading product launches and enhancements of products in the two operating units, to include collaboration with Corporate Engineering, Field Engineering and Corporate and Field Marketing.

Required keys for success:

  • Five or more years of product development management and process experience.
  • Five or more years of experience related to the telecommunications industry.
  • History of managing and fostering change.
  • Eagerness to learn from a new environment and make an impact quickly.
  • Solid leader with the ability to guide large, cross-functional teams and listen to multiple points of view to synthesize against goals.
  • Proven planning, prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, make decisions and resolve issues while working under pressure.
  • Visionary and strategic thinker with strong business acumen and sense of urgency that shows sound judgment and initiative to accomplish duties.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.

How you will stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience in product management or product development in the telecommunications industry.

Your education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, process optimization or a related technical field (required).
  • Master’s degree in business administration (preferred).

The pay for this position has a minimum of $107,600.00. The actual salary offer may be higher as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
