Interested in joining a growing team of media leaders working in financial marketing? In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the media strategy, activation, and optimization of Fidelity’s advertising investment.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
Media strategy and campaign management
Highly competent in integrated media planning and communications strategy
You maintain a current POV on evolving media landscape, emerging technologies and consumer trends
Proficiency in return on investment measurement and analytics and can facilitate workstreams related to digital tagging infrastructure and ad measurement enablement
Experience with social, digital video, OTT, streaming audio, podcasts, programmatic buying, data personalization, social platforms, digital brand tracking, content marketing/native advertising
The Purpose of Your Role
This Channel Marketing team resides within Fidelity Personal Investing but supports media planning and buying for the firm. You will align with various marketing partners to understand their goals and develop paid media strategy and plans that will support their advertising objectives and ensure a positive customer experience across marketing channels.
We also have accountability to advance the paid advertising capability within Fidelity as a media center of excellence. You will contribute to that advancement in areas including measurement, emerging media exploration, experimentation, personalization, and growing automation for speed to market.
The Skills You Bring
A proven foundation of marketing and media strategy
Awareness of advertising channel and platform standards
Technical understanding of media research and measurement systems (i.e. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Analytics, DoubleClick, MRI, Comscore)
Ability to support multiple marketing partners simultaneously and remain adaptive to working across varying team styles and workflow
Excellent interpersonal, project management, and communication skills
Familiarity with agile principles / working in agile
Presentation writing and packaging
Sophisticated use of PowerPoint and Excel
The Value You Deliver
Interpreting marketing briefs and/or sales team objectives into impactful communication strategies across media channels
Leading all aspects of channel recommendations, including approving buys, campaign monitoring, and guiding media optimizations
Leading Fidelity’s external media agencies across planning, activation, and analytics
Implementing creative and media alignments
Guiding data decisioning within media activation to drive personalization at scale and cross-device synchronization
Ensuring optimal customer experience with respect to channel strategy, bringing forward innovations that improve experience and reduce barriers to transact with Fidelity
Representing media channel efforts internally, working closely with Marketing, Creative, Marketing Activation and Analytics teams.

How Your Work Impacts the Organization
Customer Strategy and Integrated Marketing (CSIM) is the internal marketing organization of Fidelity Investments and is led by the firm’s Chief Marketing Officer. The Media team reports into the Head of Marketing and Advertising Channels within this organization. Media serves as an enterprise media services capability responsible for the strategic management and oversight across all divisions of Fidelity, including Personal Investing (Retail), Workplace Investing, Fidelity Institutional, Fidelity Charitable, Fidelity Labs, and Fidelity Healthcare Group.
