Fidelity is embarking on a multi-year journey to modernize and unify our Marketing and Communication Technology capabilities across Fidelity! We believe this initiative will transform Fidelity into a customer-backed, data-driven, digital-first, and efficient Modern Marketer and Communicator that delivers tangible customer and business value.
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing Technology who will join the Marketing Technology Product group and contribute to the modernization, management, efficiency, and adoption of our capabilities. The Senior Manager will join forces with the Squad/Product Leader, Scrum Master, Engineers, Architect, and internal customers/partners to ensure our marketing and capability objectives are realized. We will consider a remote location for the right candidate.

The Role
Develop and demonstrate expertise across the span of communication self-service & delivery, composition management, digital document generation and print delivery capabilities
Develop and demonstrate expertise in lifecycle of communications associated with various customer actions, or any regulatory changes, and how the user community curates and delivers communications/forms/digital artifacts to various audiences (internal/external and b2b/b2c)
Key participant in the agile implementation lifecycle: facilitate daily scrums, stand-ups, and other scrum ceremonies to monitor project progress; drive sprint planning and backlog prioritization; clarify epics and stories; resolve any issues the team may be experiencing; coordinate acceptance/release delivery in partnership with various partners
Serve as the conduit for capture or intake of product or implementation requirements; translate inputs into clear and detailed stories and acceptance criteria
Serve as the day-to-day contact/liaison between the development team and business partners/user communities; ensure user community needs are channeled into modernizing our platforms
Ensure deliverables meet internal/external client needs and coordinate releases/enhancements
Partner with the Scrum Master to maintain an accurate view of the work and a product backlog using Jira based tools, ensure backlog is always fully groomed and a pipeline of work is always available for the team to complete
Partner with Engineering counterparts in ensuring Technology Lifecycle maintenance and hygiene processes are efficient and up to date
Present and articulate the work completed or complicated concepts/problems to different levels of customers
Identify gaps, risks or opportunities and collaborate with group members and partners to address
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
You bring 6-8 years of overall experience in Marketing, Communication or Digital Solution space
Experience with business analysis and/or product management in an agile environment, including working collaboratively to discover and propose relevant solution objectives, requirements, epics, stories with clear acceptance criteria
Platform and Data Savvy: You understand architectural underpinnings of the solution, solution integrations, how data threads through the platforms and can engage in conversations with Engineering and other partners.
Delivery Savvy: You can play key roles in complex projects or lead small projects independently by using agile methodology
Strong interpersonal (written/verbal) and facilitation skills
Strong collaborative and relationship building work style – you can set a positive weather in a team setting
You are intellectually curious and are a continuous learner keeping abreast of new MarTech technologies and trends
Marketing and Communications Domain expertise: Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable – Communication Platforms, Customer Data Platforms, Cross-channel Campaign Management solutions, Content Management solutions, Digital Marketing, or Ad Tech solutions.
Industry Exposure: Prior experience in Financial, Insurance, Healthcare, Retail or Auto industries is desirable.
Bachelor's degree (or higher) required.
