Job Summary:
The objective of this position is to lead the day-to-day management of various workflows relating to localization operations. This person will guide the policies and procedures around audio dubbing orders, reference materials, international timelines, studio outreach, territory communications. The candidate will also be responsible for the development of statistical metrics which will enable Senior Management to analyze and act on identified information. This job requires interface with multiple business units TWDC; therefore, the candidate must have sensitivity to customer service and a sense of diplomacy. This person will also lead various relevant Key Process’s relating to our core ISO Business Management principles.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of assigned dubbing production slate by providing solutions to workflow issues
- Provide timely feedback to Sr. Management on delays or challenges
- Preside over the completion of dubbed audio, contracts, scripts, etc.. from global dubbing studios
- Measure and track various localization assets from order to inventory
- Influence operational requirements with our Content Protection group to ensure compliance
- Develop and implement ISO 900 strategies that show process improvements
- Identify & create key metrics that allow process improvements for our business management system
- Monitor vendor performance and provide detailed analysis to Sr. Management
- Proactively identify & present operational efficiencies in areas of responsibility
- Create structure in a dynamic and rapidly changing (growing) environment
- Ensure thorough, accurate, and timely completion of assignments
- Effectively preside over complex, political stakeholders by managing expectations
- Serve as primary point of contact for multiple business units within TWDC
- Adaptability and resilience to quick changes in priorities, technology, tools, and workflow
- Report to various internal stakeholders on health of titles/projects.
- Create and publish presentations related to ad-hoc projects and/or production related topics
- Set agreed upon operating procedures & client metrics managed within our ISO framework
- Clarify Confirms scope of audit with Manager as well as the business unit before fieldwork begins
- Lead individual weekly meetings to discuss upcoming schedules, projects & workload.
- Work with team members in finding solutions to their problems
- Guide the development and coaching of inclusive team
- Drive staff meeting agendas, develop action plans assigning due dates to responsible parties
- Respond to constructive feedback from direct reports
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in managing dubbing workflow required (Minimum 3 years)
- Project management in localization (Minimum 5 years)
- Management Experience (Minimum 3 years)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of localization workflows in the entertainment industry (Preferred)
- General knowledge of dubbing reference and scripting creation (Preferred)
- Exposure to developing and implementing ISO 9000 strategies (Preferred)
This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
