Reporting to the Sr. Director, I&D Strategy and Enablement, the Sr. Manager, ID&E Programs and Partnerships is a creative innovator who has the passion for elevating the employee voice and the experience channeling that energy into strategic initiatives with measurable results.  The Sr. Manager ID&E Programs and Partnerships is responsible for designing and driving the Employee Resource Group evolution, deepening Cox’s I&D external partnerships, and amplifying Cox’s Corporate Social Responsibility goals through the Center for Inclusion (CFI) strategies and initiatives.  

The Sr. Manager will assist in defining and implementing effective best practices that embed diversity and inclusion into the organization’s culture. The successful incumbent is a role model for inclusion and diversity and employs a business and data driven approach, with creativity and experience to develop integrated strategies that support an inclusive culture where all employees are empowered, respected and able to achieve their full potential. 

There is a strong preference for the successful candidate to be Atlanta-based.  Candidates who can actively work from a CCI or CAI office will also be considered.  

Key responsibilities include:

Employee Resource Groups

Lead the employee resource groups across the United States, Canada and internationally in setting and delivering on their annual strategic plans, ensuring their efforts are consistently aimed at supporting the delivery of the ID&E goals, which include employee engagement, community and social impact, development, recruitment, and retention.

Provide governance across all ERGs to ensure programs, practices and initiatives align with the enterprise ID&E strategy, and the business and people priorities for the organization

Design and deliver ERG development programs for ERG leaders to support success in ERG and full-time roles

Develop cadence for engaging ERG Executive Sponsors to strengthen synergies among the ERGs, inform areas of continuous improvement and links to ERG work and business initiatives.

Provide consultative expertise to ensure all Cox I&D Councils, ERGs and Steering Committees align with Cox’s enterprise ID&E strategy.

Partner closely with the VP, Inclusion & Diversity to allocate and manage ERG budgets and measure the ROI of various initiatives and programs

Corporate Social Responsibility & Social Justice Fund

Serve as a critical partner to the Corporate Social Responsibility team, providing the ID&E lens on all social impact initiatives, including developing a systematic approach to ERG engagement

Partner with the ID&E Capabilities & Engagement team to design and deliver the annual Cox Social Justice speaking series.

ID&E Partnerships

Manage and align annual engagement plans and agreements with key, external partners in the Global I&D portfolio (e.g. Catalyst, ATL Action for Racial Equity, Seramount) and identify additional partnerships that align with key initiatives in the ID&E strategy

Develop and manage relationships with I&D-focused Chambers and other community partners

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $114,075 – 152,100. Salary may vary outside of the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience.

Position is eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

5- 7 years progressive business experience; including a minimum of 3 years in a full-time Inclusion & Diversity position

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple, deadline -driven projects

Ability to use/analyze data and metrics to drive outcomes

Credibility with business leaders in understanding the P&L and key levers of a business

Excellent oral and written skills

Strong track record of driving business results

Ability to travel up to 15%.
