What you'll do…

As a Senior Manager I, Content Strategist at Spark Walmart, you’ll get to showcase your expertise in using content to attract and engage internal and external stakeholders, use your strategic and creative skills to refine, enhance, and drive our brand awareness, and promote our brand. You will leverage your exceptional content strategy skills, along with inventive problem-solving skills to lead the Content development initiatives for our last mile delivery programs at scale. You are a contemporary thinker who translates business strategy into impactful campaigns including storytelling for last mile delivery, product promotion and driver learning, as well as structuring driver communications in creative and new ways; oversees creative vendors and manages multiple creative projects; responsible for dedicated campaigns to enhance Driver Experience, brand recognition and engagement; seeks, monitors, and recommends new approaches for content creation; develops and tracks metrics for measure impact and communicate learnings; digests and absorbs business strategy input to produce operational communications and creative content output.

You have a track record of leading teams to develop communications, digital content, creating engaging programs, and building journey-based learning programs to enhance Last Mile Driver Experience.

Strategic content planning experience with ability to set formal objectives, KPIs, and identify audience needs with an outside-in engagement approach

Develop content strategies for traditional and digital channels, and content marketing and distribution platforms

Use analytics to determine the best way to engage users, increase customer loyalty, generate leads, and measure brand awareness

Work with cross-functional teams to establish and articulate internal and external key messages, and ensure that content is aligned accordingly

Use your understanding of SEO, keyword research, information architecture, and usability best practices to deliver targeted content

Work with editors, writers, UX designers, content management system developers, and marketers to deliver stories that are aligned with business goals

Experience executing innovative operational and creative logistics communications campaigns across various channels (e.g. app, social, owned websites, search) to build brand reputation and engagement

You have refined communications skills (including technical / script writing) and ability to create content for both internal and external stakeholders

Strong communications and interpersonal skills with success in influencing and relationship-building to inspire cross functional teams and rally around a common goal

Lead development and implementation of content strategies and plans. This includes writing and implementing content targeted to the needs and opportunities of our last mile gig drivers

Work with analytics and channel partners to monitor content effectiveness and recommend improvements

You are comfortable with working in a fast-paced startup environment with day-to-day ambiguity

You’ve demonstrated ability to write and present clearly and persuasively, and communicate complex ideas in a compelling way to a variety of audience

You have a track record of coming up with inventive solutions for our biggest problems and opportunities

You are structured in your thought process and can break down large problems into smaller problems

SKILLS

This position requires strong communications and analytical skills driven by intense curiosity, with a robust ability to assemble complex, technical information from various sources. 

Excellent verbal, written, and editing skills, with strong project management experience, and adept and managing successful projects in a matrixed corporate environment by building coalitions and driving consensus

Data-driven with impeccable organization and high comfort working with technical subject matter.

Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Collaborative, energetic, and tenacious self-starter with an ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously. 

Enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally with partners across Last Mile delivery for the Walmart US business. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, or related field preferred and 5+ years of work experience in Content / Communications creation; OR MBA with 3+ years of work experience in related field.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills with high attention to detail. 

Excellent command of English and strong proofreading and writing skills. 

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Ability to create, manage, and execute multiple creative projects effectively

Experience with some aspects of content production lifecycle and with managing creative partners/agencies

Proven creative, innovative and strategic thinker

Obsessed with delivering exceptional quality and impact, ruthlessly prioritizes

Ability to document, plan, measure, and report on outcomes to demonstrate program impact

Primary Location...

Will consider remote candidates, with a preference for the following locations: San Bruno, CA, Hoboken, NJ, Bentonville, AR, Dallas, TX, Seattle, WA, Raleigh, NC or New York, NY.
