Job Summary:

Think big, test small, scale fast.  We need a rockstar B2B marketer who will lead our Growth Marketing function on the Communities Marketing team on our Path to 3 Billion.  This highly-skilled B2B marketer will lead our marketing strategy for key growth initiatives like Managed IoT, our pre-enabled Internet service (Quick Connect), and our market expansion efforts including beyond borders. 

 This individual identifies effective marketing campaigns, communications needs, and program opportunities, taking initiatives from concept to execution and evaluating against qualitative and quantitative objectives. Engages in cross-group collaboration with key boundary partners, including Brand, Digital, Consumer segment strategy, Go-to-Market Marketing teams, and the MDU/SFU sales team to meet or exceed growth and profit objectives by optimizing marketing initiatives through multiple channels.

 Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Leads development of overall B2B marketing communications strategy for MDU owners, leasing agents, SFU developers, industry consultants, and influencers.

Leads development of overall B2C marketing communications strategy for key growth initiatives (Managed IoT, Quick Connect, Market Expansion), supplementing Go to Market strategies, and competitive analysis (e.g. SWOT) as needed.

Utilizes new platforms to build innovative marketing campaigns like trigger marketing automation to support new and existing account-based marketing efforts.

Oversees development of creative briefs, strategy, and execution with brand team to ensure adherence to target audience.

Partners with product management on marketing communications related to new MDU-specific product launches. Directs execution of communications through appropriate channels and to sales teams.

Ensures brand consistency in marketing communication execution while allowing for local customization to achieve desired results.

Leads marketing engagement with other Cox Communities business units to evaluate new MDU  and New Build business opportunities and emerging threats (such as 5G).

 Qualifications:

Minimum

7+ years of experience required in related Marketing or Sales field or 5+ years of experience in related field and an advanced degree (MS/MBA or above)

BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly preferred (i.e. Marketing, Business, etc.)

Demonstrated Business to Business Marketing experience

Experience with developing and executing 360-degree marketing campaigns

Requires strong knowledge of applications such Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint

Excellent soft skills such as interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills to work with cross-functional teams

Strong analytical and decision-making ability

Proactive, process-oriented and ability

Effective presentation, oral, and written communication skills

Preferred:

Experience in telecommunications industry desired

Demonstrated Business to Business Marketing experience in MDU and/or New Build
