Cox Automotive looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis that will partner with Enterprise and Manheim Executive Sales Executive team to drive insights and reporting efficiencies across these organizations.  This individual will enable insightful processes for forecasting, pipeline and sales performance management.  They will identify sales and revenue growth opportunities and work with Sales Leaders to implement new strategies.  Candidates must also thrive in a collaborative environment and possess the proven ability to influence other finance and business leaders.  This position reports to the Director of Finance for Sales Support and must be highly detail oriented. 

 PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Provides direction, thought leadership, and partners with Sales Executive team on sales reporting and analytic needs.

Connect with the Enterprise and Manheim Sales Executive team to develop financial modeling and analysis that drive insights to support strategic objectives and plans for business partners and executive leadership.

Become a trusted partner that Sales Leaders can depend on for insights and business behavior.

Manage a forward-looking lens of the business through daily pipeline management.

Complete comprehensive weekly forecasting, looking for ways to improve accuracy, timeliness and processes.

Manage Sales Performance reporting, to provide leadership with team member insights. 

Provide proactive insights and financial recommendations on high profile business issues.

Lead and guide junior level analysts.

Create and maintain an environment of personal accountability that encourages ownership of issues and excellence in service.

Contribute thought leadership and best practices around strategic challenges to promote efficiencies, productivity, and accuracy.

Provide insights on trends and issues impacting Sales performance.  Identify long term implications and risks to the business.

Qualifications:

Requires BS/BA degree in related discipline with advance degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.

7+ years of experience working within a like analytical financial environment to include financial strategy, project management, process improvement, business performance management and/or corporate strategy.

Experience in a management/leadership role preferred.

Build, sustain, and leverage relationships with business partners.

Extensive experience with the MS Office Suite, specifically with Excel in the automation of reporting to include building macros and managing large/imperfect data sets.

Excellent organizational skills and an ability to work on a team.

Ability to exercise independent judgment for interpreting financial data.

Motivated, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.

Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail is a must.

Demonstrated ability to multitask successfully.
