Lead team of business operations professionals who oversee the Cox Communications Inc. Product Lifecycle Management activities for the Cox Retail Wireless product suite from a finance Perspective.   Support the Wireless Product Lead and his/her leadership team with the Creation, Development, Execution, Launch, and Ongoing financial/economic analysis of the suite of CCI Retail Wireless products.  Directs and performs financial analysis and reporting activities to support short-term and long-range strategic plans and operating budgets for the Retail Wireless product. Manages company's financial planning process and procedures. Evaluates data, prepares forecasts, and analyzes trends in sales, operations, general business conditions, and other related areas. Identifies performance issues and makes recommendations to management for remedial actions. Prepares and distributes periodic financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

 Seasoned contributor with deep understanding of area of focus.  Responsible for large, complex projects.  Work requires independence; determines and develops approach to projects.  Receives guidance only on unusual or highly complex problems.  Sometimes expected to review reports/business cases with executives. 

Responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the Wireless Devices Portfolio

Support Device Financing Workstream

Lead cross functional teams and projects through the Devices life cycle

Lead monthly Devices deep dive and help drive proactive future strategies

Lead, coach, and develop the team to help drive and influence results with the Devices and WiFi offload teams

Influence Devices Leader and WiFi Offload Leader to guide investment decisions and Operational plans to enhance Mobile profitability

Develop business case analysis and complex financial models for multiple wireless workstreams. Communicate, present findings to senior leadership and internal business partners.

Support work stream leaders with identifying and understanding financial risk and opportunities

Lead a team of analysts who provide strategic financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting, including the identification of financial and operational risks and opportunities for the launch of the Retail Wireless Product.

May personally conduct and will oversee a team of analysts who provide tools, financial modeling, assessment and evaluation of alternative financial plans.

May personally conduct and will oversee a team of analysts who will develop and adhere to reporting standards including data requirements for financial projections, modeling, analysis and recommendations.

Contributes to financial strategic planning, analysis and review through the identification of cost-saving and profit-maximizing opportunities to improve current processes and provide meaningful information to key decision makers;

Presents business cases, budget and forecast recommendations to internal customers and Sr. Leadership and may implement solutions.

Qualifications:

Minimum

7 or more years of experience required in related field (Finance, Accounting, Business, etc.)

5 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree

3 plus years of financial modeling/business case experience.

Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Hyperion Essbase or other multidimensional OLAP database.

Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization

Preferred

BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (Finance, Accounting, Business, etc.)

3 or more years of experience in a management role preferred

Experience in building large scale ROI/ROIC or Economic Models valued at $500M+

Experience in Wireless industry strongly preferred

Experience working in a startup environment

Experience with Product Lifecycle Management financial process.

Experience developing Retail Wireless business cases.
