Responsibilities
The Field Technology Department provides the foundational technologies leveraged by users of all types across Enterprise Holdings varied lines of business. From traditional endpoints (laptops & printers), to mobile technologies (tablets & scanners), to productivity solutions (Office365 & Teams), and more; the Field Technology solutions are the point of confluence for the applications, people, process, and technology that power Enterprise.
The Field Technology Department has an immediate opening for a Senior Manager. This role will focus on operational excellence of the support lifecycle by providing leadership that ensures readiness for change, monitoring and measuring trends, effectively managing escalations, and advocating for continuous process improvement focused on the end-user experience. This role provides leadership & direction to multiple teams and managed service providers and collaborates with multiple levels of leadership, and a wide range of internal & external partners, to ensure the cohesive planning and execution of day-to-day and strategic activities. This role is also responsible for facilitating the engagement, skills development, and career progression of the team members under their charge.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to balance empathy for the user experience, with the rigor of standards and best practices required for a scalable, sustainable support model. Additionally, the ideal candidate will carry an enthusiasm for improving people & process and leverage a general technical aptitude, while demonstrating leadership to motivate and inspire change at the individual, team, and department level.
Responsibilities:
Aligning operational activities with strategic goals.
Communicating clear, concise strategic vision and direction.
Identifying strategic opportunities and challenges.
Defining, developing, communicating, and implementing standards, processes, and procedures for the department.
Working on large, complex initiatives where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors and proactive risk management.
Planning and managing project activities within project plan and/or providing input into project activities within project plan. May oversee multiple projects that may have interdependencies.
Providing leadership to project teams and/or leading project teams within area/department and across functional teams.
Preparing and delivering informal and formal presentations to own team, department, other IT teams, business partners, and IT leadership.
Career planning/support including interviewing, hiring, training, performance, and compensation.

Qualifications
Required:
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
The Senior Manager position requires 8+ years of IT related experience
5+ years of IT Management experience
Must have excellent communication skills
Must have superior customer service skills
Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and recommend improvement opportunities
Experience developing standards, processes, and procedures; including corresponding metrics and KPI
Must have strong leadership qualities, with the ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with subordinates, peers, management, vendors, and teams/departments within the IT organization
Experience motivating and directing teams to accomplish goals
Ability to exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments
Collaborates with Department Manager to identify and plan for resources needed to accomplish long-term goals
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
Experience with ServiceNow or similar service management application
Experience with Jira or similar work planning application
Experience managing 3rd party service provider relationships
Experience managing other managers
