Job Summary:
The Sr Manager, Digital Media for Cox Business will oversee all digital media strategy, budgeting, planning, execution, and optimization marketing Cox’s Business-to-Business operations digitally. The individual will serve as the main conduit between Cox’s media agency of record as well as Cox’s individual media partners managing a performance focused digital media plan with detailed KPIs defining results.
Cox Business has aggressive revenue and sales goals and is increasing their focus on digital as a critical medium to drive awareness, intent, and sales to prospective businesses as well as to its current customer base. The digital media plans will support all sales initiatives to prospects and current customers. And, also use digital media to target current customers to increase digital adoption of newly launching digital capabilities enabling customers to self-solve issues online.
The digital channels included in this scope are programmatic display, online video, connected TV, online radio, and paid social media.
This role directly manages 1 to 2 high level individual contributors.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Sets strategy and develops processes and standards to ensure smooth daily operations and execution of digital media focused on marketing Cox Business
Manage media as a full funnel channel, increasing share of results attributed to digital media via last touch, multi touch, and media mix modeling methodologies
Responsible for adhering to OPEX budget and achieving/exceeding sales targets
Consults with Cox Business to ensure that the media strategy aligns with overall goals.
Manages daily operations of agency team to execute and optimize digital media as a performance channel; provides feedback and guidance to ensure SLA standards are met.
Oversees the management of all digital media campaigns as an awareness, sales, marketing, and customer care channel (full funnel, full lifecycle of customer)
Influence the development and execution of Cox’s customer segmentation strategy for digital media (non customer, current customer, and segments within), and increase targeting capabilities within media landscape
Define and oversees the execution a desktop, mobile web, and mobile app strategy
Ensure linkage between media messaging and cox.com/business is established, with all media creative being organically and readily visible on cox.com/business
Partner with non-customer and current customer strategy leadership to identify goals and standards for media campaigns; ensures media campaigns meet varying goals by customer segment.
Translates analyses into key findings and produces insightful data-driven recommendations. Creates executive reporting packages and shares findings with company leadership.
Present business insights and meaningful trends to help Cox improve/optimize segmentation strategy and digital investments
Manages traffic and execution of all creative assets
Provides guidance, direction, and directly manages one to two associates.

Qualifications:
Minimum:
7+ years work experience in digital media and/or marketing or equivalent; five years if candidate possesses advanced degree
5+years’ experience managing digital media and digital media agencies
3+ years of recent work experience marketing business to business via digital media
Experience with website and media tagging, website design, landing pages, and user experience flows
Experience and thorough understanding of online marketing tactics and KPIs (paid search, digital display, remarketing, video pre-roll/broadband tv, paid social media)
Agency and outside technology vendor management
Strong sales/marketing relationship building skills required
Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance
Track record of driving increased results performance
Excellent communication and people skills required
Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field highly desired
