Job Summary:

Digital Capability Manager with primary responsibility for owning and driving the technology enablement strategy for Workday Reporting.  Additional responsibilities include assisting with digital capability management for Performance and Talent Planning annual cycles in Workday.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Owns end-to-end responsibility for managing the build and run activities of Workday technology assets within the Reporting area, ensuring they are reliable, accessible, & secure
  • Partners with Application Support vendor to design, develop and implement innovative technology solutions with focus on best possible end-user experience
  • Collaborates with Business and IT Plan function to define business requirements, project/enhancement timelines and budget, develop acceptance criteria, testing, training and change management plans
  • Responsible for developing and updating complex reports, calculated fields and implementing new reporting functionality in Workday based on business needs
  • Provides guidance, and expertise to Workday support teams related to Workday Reporting
  • Builds, documents and manages the governance around Workday Reporting and associated functionality
  • Reviews impact of Workday release changes specific to Workday reporting and manages required updates and report cleanup on an ongoing basis
  • Monitors performance of Workday Reports and suggests improvements
  • Builds and Maintains Workday Dashboards & Worklets
  • Understands the functional requirements and assists with managing the technical design and configuration of the annual Performance cycle and Talent Planning cycle in Workday
  • Ensures design and configuration are documented appropriately
  • Designs and maintains complex Talent reports for Performance reviews and Calibration and the associated Calculated fields
  • Ensures test scripts and scenarios are kept up-to-date for Workday Reporting, Annual Performance cycle and Talent planning cycle
  • Helps drive adoption of new functionality within Workday SaaS solution, specifically with Workday Reporting and Talent Management
  • Stays informed of new functionality in Workday with an understanding of Workday’s future roadmap
  • Proactively looks for opportunities to improve, re-use and continuously simplify our IT environment
  • Works in an Agile manner
  • Ensures compliance to evolving regulations, particularly General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Successful candidates will have several or all of the following qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of experience developing, implementing and supporting Human Resources Technologies
  • 3-5 years of experience with Workday Reporting and creation of complex calculated fields required
  • 3-5 years of experience with one or more of the following required:  Workday Talent, Workday HCM, Workday Compensation
  • Experience specific to Talent Management reporting, with an understanding of the complexities for reporting on Calibrations and Performance Reviews within Workday is desired
  • Experience supporting globally standard solutions
  • Excellent Communication skills and experience developing presentations to capture complex design requirements
  • Expertise in Office 365, including strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong relationship building skills to establish trust and rapport with business
  • Skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Experience working with the Agile Methodology
  • Proficiency in demonstrating the Core BMS Values
