The Senior Manager, Digital Capability Management, Solution Architect - SAP/OTC is responsible for driving solutions to enable effective and efficient outcomes for the BMS business. Through strong collaboration and a focus on business success, this person drives design, implementation and support activities for the Order To Cash functionality associated to the SAP systems.

Position Responsibility:

  • Part of the team that produces the deliverables as specified by Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to support Order to Cash requirements globally.

  • Effectively translate business requirements to a solution using the SAP ECC ERP system, bolt-ons to SAP ECC ERP, and related tools

  • Manage stakeholder communications for projects. Produce clear and effective written presentations, memos, etc.

  • Develop and maintain productive and positive relationships with key Vendor/Partners to understand roadmaps and strategies. Absorb new ideas and drive continuous improvement for operations and design of processes.

  • Develop cost estimates and resource plans in a timely fashion.  Assign resources and establish priorities. Work with IT Business Partners to understand business strategy and support IT strategy development

  • Provide oversight and guidance to project teams and third party/partner development organizations for the Order to Cash area and related applications. Coordinate system development and support. Deliver on all project timelines, project budget, and overall project quality. Identifies and leverages synergies with other projects and/or processes

  • Participate in and provide input to IT platform strategy. Provide oversight and governance for process design within SAP platforms.

  • Propose and implement solutions by using the SAP ECC 6.0 application as well as related bolt-on and integrations tools

  • Develops self and others through training and project work assignments

  • Provide approval as necessary for third party and/or partner work in the SAP ECC ERP or related applications.  Manage the transition of all project work to the IT support teams

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent education required

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 OM (Order Management), and SD (Sales and Distribution).

  • Knowledge of related SAP areas such as Inventory Management (IM), Manufacturing (PP), Warehouse Management (WM), Quality Management (QM), Manufacturing (PP), Costing (CO), and Direct Procurement (PROC)

  • Experience implementing SAP solutions for Pharmaceutical industry, in FDA and GxP regulated environment.

  • Experience managing project personnel and budget of large projects. Experience in a full life cycle implementation of ECC is preferred

  • Experience working in a matrix organization  Ability to manage work across virtual teams and be sensitive to cultural differences

  • Experience with interfacing SAP to Third Party Manufacturers systems is preferred. 

  • Excellent oral communication and written presentation skills is required
