Role Summary
The Cox Business Fulfillment team is seeking a Sr. Mgr. Data Analysis to lead analytics initiatives that will inform our most impactful business decisions. You will design innovative approaches turning data into information, information into insights and insights into data-enabled business decisions that steer the strategic direction of our organization . You will be instrumental in leading the use of analytics as a critical value driver and source of competitive advantage across our organization.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Lead a team in the development of data models, data visualizations and automated analytics that operationalize insights across the business
• Be the primary partner for cross-functional stakeholders to define and understand key enterprise KPIs and business metrics
• Anticipate analytical needs of the business, design diagnostic solutions and deliver highly polished data products and insights
• Act as a liaison between internal boundary partners to establish and support reliable SLAs for key data sets
• Explain complex analysis simply through informative and well-organized presentations that contribute to overall business goals
• Drive the development of prioritized analytics solutions including problem definition, solution design and execution
• Use internal and external analytics tools to access and analyze complex data
• Drive adoption of analytical solutions and business intelligence tools
• Encourage the collection of new data and the improvement/integrity of existing data sources
• Measure and improve the quality of analytics solutions on an ongoing basis
• Transform the Analyst One Team into Prediction Modeling
• Provide mentorship and professional career development to your team members and work to recruit and retain top talent by building career paths and nurturing growth
Qualifications:
Required
• 7 or more years of experience required developing and implementing analytical solutions in Finance, Marketing, Sales or Operations. 5 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree
• Requires extensive knowledge and experience with analytical tools such as SAS, R, Tableau, etc. as well as SQL and data manipulation tools like Alteryx, etc.
• Requires extensive teamwork, communication, presentation, and time management skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
• Requires Machine learning algorithms experience in Prediction Results for Operational modeling changes and impacts such as Neural network – TensorFlow, Decision tree – XGBoost etc.
Preferred
• BS/BA in quantitative field strongly desired (statistics, QM, Computer Science, Economics, Analytics, Engineering, etc.). • Advanced degree in Business, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other analysis related fields preferred
• 3 or more years of experience in a management role preferred
• 5 or more years of experience in telecommunications, with a focus on industry, market & business analysis
• Certification in CAP (Certified Analytics Professional) and/or relevant industry certifications (SAS Foundation Certifications, Tableau, etc).
• Implementing cross-functional analytical projects and solutions, including defining scope, timelines and milestones.
• 1-2 years using tools like SAS or R for modeling and analysis
• 1-2 years using tools like OBIEE, Cognos, or BusinessObjects for reporting & business intelligence
• 3+ years using tools like Tableau, QlikView or PowerBI for data visualization
• 5+ years using SQL for data querying and extraction
• 1-2 years using tools like Alteryx, Tableau Prep, or KNIME for data preparation and/or analytical workflows
• Experience within telecom, consumer package goods, retail, financial services, or consulting industries
• Econometric and statistical modeling and machine learning methodology
• Product analytics including call-in rate; product usage; early-life analyses; product cost, revenue & profitability analyses
• Marketing and/or Sales analytics including revenue/discounting analysis, customer survival and churn analysis, and business case/profitability analysis support
• Operational analytics including application for Call Center, Technical Support, Collections, and Customer Experience Analytics
