What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Manager with our Cybersecurity Engineering & Operations team, you will manage a technical infrastructure team responsible for large/complex infrastructure projects/engagements (including maintenance & support) with a focus on security-related technologies like endpoint security, cryptography, etc.  You will drive corporate programs and ensure deadlines are met while also ensuring that security goals and initiatives are successfully implemented.

You will:

• Be fully accountable for all people-management activities for a team of cybersecurity engineers, including establishing goals, providing mentorship and motivation, and managing staffing capacity/workload balancing to ensure team productivity
• Partner closely with Dell Digital IT, other cybersecurity teams, and business functions to meet project milestones and service levels
• Manage customer escalations and ensure best possible outcomes are achieved
• Develop new or revise existing processes/procedures to mature services and align with strategic direction/priorities of the broader cyber engineering organization
• Advise senior management and key stakeholders on latest industry standards, technologies and best practices; and assist in change management planning and implementation

Essential Requirements

• 4+ years of direct experience in the field of cybersecurity 
• Strong people management and mentoring skills with ability to develop senior cybersecurity talent 
• Understands change management & Service management best practices with experience supporting global customers
• Broad understanding of Cybersecurity technologies, network security concepts, and how to handle escalations
• Must be a US citizen

Desired Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education/professional experience in a similar role
• Prior management experience strongly preferred
• Product Management experience a plus
