The Role

Fidelity is embarking on a multi-year journey to establish an Enterprise product organization that will unify our Marketing & Communication Technology capabilities across Fidelity! We believe this unification in conjunction with investments in best of breed capabilities will transform Fidelity into a customer-backed, data-driven, digital-first and efficient Modern Marketer and Communicator.

As a key member of the Marketing & Communication Transformation COE, you will own and deliver thorough business analyses and research, contribute to the breakdown and synthesis of problems, and offer your perspectives as input into a broader business conversation. You will bring extensive business and solution design expertise combined with a passion for influencing and collaborating with others. You will partner with Fidelity leaders, across business lines, to both understand their business strategies and objectives and advising them on consistent practices and standards for Marketing & Communication Technology. You will work with architects and agile product teams to blend your extensive business knowledge and MarTech best practices into meaningful future state destination roadmaps along with prioritization of current state infrastructure investments.

Responsibilities

Facilitate cross-functional workshops with business and product teams to understand current and future state capability and organization opportunities

Develop and maintain key business architecture artifacts (e.g. capability models, org blueprints, value streams, reference architecture) and ensure alignment across business and technology teams

Improve the success of absorbing large scale transformational change by synthesizing findings and developing practical, actionable recommendations

Provide consulting services to business teams and technical teams by breaking down business goals into capability needs that translate to deliverables in product team backlogs, help validate business capabilities meet boarder business goals and roadmaps

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

5+ years' experience working on consulting teams to address business challenges for clients / business partners, or experience in an analytic role in the Marketing or Financial Services industry

Solid background in supporting major initiatives impacting companies top strategic goals & objectives

Ability to work with partners from business teams, product management, engineering, and analytics to help teams find answers and generate relevant insights

Strong sense of curiosity, research and problem-solving skills, including proven experience with breaking down problems and issue/option/resolution framing

Ability to provide perceptive business insights that is not obvious to others and leads to beneficial recommendations

Strong facilitation and use of various research techniques to uncover and investigate unmet needs and key pain points (e.g. group and 1:1 interviewing, Jobs To Be Done framework, journey mapping, heat mapping)

Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills conducive to driving consensus across many levels of leadership

Strong attention to detail and comfort with ambiguity

Can-do attitude and eagerness to learn

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Business Architecture or BPM certifications a plus
