Learning Business Partner
*Open to all EU Locations*
At Amazon, our mission is to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. If you'd like to help us build the place to find and buy anything online, this is your chance to make history.
We are looking for a dynamic, self-starter to join our EU Amazon Sort Center (SC) Talent Development Team as a Learning Business Partner within Amazon Transportation Services (ATS). We are transforming the way we do associate training and leadership development. We are customer-obsessed and innovative in our efforts to increase leadership capability. This means we build our own highly customised and targeted solutions that directly serve the business. We work backward from business development needs through deep dives and critical analysis of our talent movements. The Learning Business Partner will support development of SC leaders – from first-time leaders to leaders of leaders.
The Learning Business Partner (LBP) for Amazon Sort Center Operations, ATS Learning & Talent Development, will be responsible for formulating and implementing the strategy for learning and development initiatives supporting Sort Center Operations. The LBP will effectively assess challenges and build performance solutions, work alongside ACES and Safety in the development of training best practices and standards, enable solution implementation across the Sort Center network, and drive execution of solutions within the field. The LBP is responsible for improving Safety, Quality, and Performance results, with a focus on both associate performance and training and leader onboarding and development. We need a creative leader who is hands-on, has a strong knowledge of Operations and a data-driven approach to solution development. Stakeholder management and leading initiatives at an EU level are key aspects of this role.
The Learning Business Partner will need to invent in order to simplify and be able to operate successfully in a space where there is high ambiguity and a great need to partner with other Learning orgs for best practices or building programs from scratch. Qualifications include excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proven experience leading program or project management tasks. This role entails providing strong leadership and direction to corporate learning resources as well as field personnel across the business unit.
