About the Role

We have a fantastic, permanent opportunity for an experienced AS9100 Lead Audit qualified Senior QA Analyst familiar with TickIT Plus working within a defense environment.

You'll be collaborating with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devising and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

Required skills, qualifications and experience:

Qualified AS9100 Lead auditor (preferred) or Qualified Lead Auditor in one of the following ISO9001, 2000, 27001 or TickITplus.

A Project Management Qualification e.g. Prince 2,  or other APM approved course.

Familiarity with Agile development techniques.

Root Cause Analysis qualification.

Occurrence Investigator qualification.

​Experience estimating work loading and task management.

Ability to work with and influence across multiple functions and levels within a small team

Desired skills, qualifications and experience

Qualification in engineering, design, or computer science (NVQ Level4/ONC or above).

Experience/qualification in Risk Management.

Experience/qualification in Business Change Management (BCM).

Experience of UK MoD Maritime, Land and Air based programmes.

Experience of UK MoD Military Aviation Authority (MAA) Regulatory Publications (MRPs).

Experience of Allied Quality Assurance Publications (AQAPs)  and Joint Service Publications (JSPs).   

Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).

Understanding of training systems (Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT)) or equivalent.

Human Factors Training.

Previous Military experience of benefit.
