Overview
The Senior IT Analyst Hardware & Logistics Asset Management is responsible for ensuring technology solutions address business requirements and achieve the identified business outcomes. The position has a combination of strong business acumen and the ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business language. This role will assist subject matter experts with gap analysis / process definition and system enhancements. The focus is to build a solution and configure ITAM platform technologies by taking business requirements and configuring the systems to support the business requirements. With a focus on receiving process and accuracy on our end-user equipment as well as Datacenter equipment. This person will be working closely with Mobility, Infrastructure and Data Center teams. The person is also responsible for managing the disposal of assets via a managed service. They will coordinate the request and pick-up, ensuring that contractual SLAs are met.
They assist with educating the IT team on the goals of the business and assist with facilitating communication and alignment between functions and IT from the gathering of initial requirements to final implementation. This person may also manage process conformity, compliance, and is responsible for the development of business and technical process documentation and training materials for Hardware Asset Management life cycle.
The ITAM Logistics Sr Analyst will support the day to day activities in support of Hardware Asset Management services for ETP and SGWS. The role will require coordination with the functions that support life-cycle management, including receiving and asset tagging as well as disposal and end-of-life activities for IT assets.
Specialized Skills and Technologies
Familiar with IT Asset Management Technologies, ie Flexera configuration, developing reports and dashboards
Knowledge of Purchasing, ITSM and CMDB technologies
Primary Responsibilities
Establish and maintain relationships with team members within IT and across functional teams
Configures, designs systems to meet business needs within ITAM platforms
Interacts with processing teams, vendors, and other teams and systems integrated with systems platforms
Coordinate Governance, Processes and Escalation Management
Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of lifecycle data relating to hardware assets
Work directly with Support Technicians to ensure effective and accurate information entry in the system
This role will assist subject matter experts with gap analysis / process definition and system enhancements and will provide a high level of service for break-fix incidents and requests
Collect required information to develop work scope around solutions to attain customer requirements along with data expertise as required
Communicate systems and procedural changes to end users through excellent written and oral communications
Develop business and technical process documentation and training materials
Support and sometimes drive the definition of project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; assist with project budget needs
Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions as directed
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Analysis, Data Management, BI or related degree)
Three (3)+ years of work experience in a business or technology role working closely with functions outside of IT understanding business processes and needs
Proficiency using high mathematical concepts such as fractions, algebra, statistics, mathematical modeling and, to some extent, calculus
Understanding of IT processes and ability to translate and communicate technical concepts into business language
Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision-making and quantitative analysis skills to provide insights into performance and efficiency opportunities
Strong planning and organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail skills
Excellent customer service skills in all interactions with internal and external customers, including but not limited to personnel from other divisions, vendors, suppliers, and other departments
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree
Experience in systems development lifecycle models such Agile or other traditional project management principles
IAITAM Certification, such as CHAMP or CITAM
Experience with ITSM or ITAM Hardware Solutions or Services within Data Center or End-user devices
