Role Summary

 The Senior Analyst, Inventory Operations – Systems will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all supply chain systems and connected 3rd party applications.  They will plan, perform and implement supply chain system process improvements and / or change management initiatives.  The Senior Analyst, Inventory Operations – Systems must understand supply chain data requirements from 3rd party applications and Corporate's ERP system.  This position will support continuous capability developments, short-mid and long term that are enabled and supported by technology. Qualified candidates must be able to identify non optimal business practices and be able to research, design, present and implement alternative solutions, keep abreast of changes in Corporate’s operation and new product offerings, share best practices, and understand the impact to the customer value chain.

 Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Monitors business process (requisitions, purchases, misc transactions, etc), schedules updates (pick release schedule, inventory observations, etc). & works to resolve month end close inventory issues.

Coordinates application/system changes working with the appropriate teams to resolve issues.

Designs, builds, and validates configuration parameters to ensure functionality and implement approved changes to the application.

Work independently and with functional leaders to support the ERP and other systems optimization implementation as well as strategic initiatives to maintain data integrity, troubleshoot and recommend solutions

Provides recurring reporting for operations, finance, sourcing, and / or warehousing used by decision makers across the organization for strategy and optimization.

Achieves SCM business objectives and performance goals by benchmarking Quality initiatives within and across industry and developing strategic programs that enhance performance.

Delivers excellent internal and external customer satisfaction by demonstrating exemplary leadership with business partners in an effort to identify interdependencies and best practices. 

Generates data and analysis to report activity and track quality and works with functional experts to develop tactics to improve business performance and customer satisfaction.

Provides guidance and performs physical inventory count administration, disposition of excess/obsolete materials and coordination with third party vendors for processing of customer premise equipment.

Completes data mapping exercises from connected 3rd party applications or outside vendor data to Corporate ERP system

Researches, selects, implements and champions best practices to support an effective interdepartmental service delivery plan.

Establishes an efficient operation by streamlining internal operational workflows, policies and procedures to improve operational effectiveness while sustaining an employee friendly culture.

Contributes as a key member of the SCM team that sets delivery strategy, department business plans, establishes effective management practices and fosters an employee focused, professional, business-goal oriented culture.  

Represents SCM on Cross Functional Teams.

Supports internal/external audit efforts related to SCM.

Supports Non-EBS Financial apps (Vertex, More4apps, etc).

Define requirements with collaboration in training and testing for system fixes and work requests, along with any User acceptance testing and training.

Process maps key functional activities to document workflow for knowledge center and training

Coordinates and facilitates meetings as assigned.

Performs other SCM related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum

Required 3 to 5 years of previous work experience in Supply Chain or Operations with experience interfacing with ERP system

Required 3 to 5 years of information analysis and insights development.

Advanced experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).

Demonstrated operational, technology, and business analysis expertise.

Self-starter with ability to manage projects and relationships independently.

Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, network, collaborate and accomplish goals through others in a diverse employee population.

Excellent writing and oral communication skills, with specific expertise in management reporting and executive writing skills.

Travel less than 5%.

 Preferred  

BS/BA in related discipline strongly desired – Supply Chain

SQL knowledge and familiarity

2 or more years of experience mapping data using middleware tool, Oracle and / or PIM preferred

Experience in telecommunications industry
