Key Responsibilities:
Providing strategic Internal Communications support to business leaders and departments, sharing responsibility of key company wide communications initiatives with the Snr IC Manager
Deputising for Snr IC Manager in the following areas:
Managing the IC team
Ensure accountability amongst the team to deliver projects on time and on budget
Oversee resourcing and effective distribution of work across them team
Provide critical feedback, coaching and mentoring to support ongoing development and learning on the job for the team
Oversee the company-wide IC calendar across all functions
Business partnering the Commercial and PX functions
Work closely with the senior leadership teams of the two functions to establish priorities and maintain functional comms calendars
Create engaging multi-channel campaigns tied to functional and business objectives
Support the Exec communications for both functions
Cross-functional campaigns
Lead on the design and delivery of ASOS All cross-functional campaigns
Change and crisis
Lead the communications for business and behavioural change projects
Support the external communications team on any crisis communications that may have an internal impact
CEO comms
Work closely with the CEO to draft all of his business communications
Lead of the content creation for the bi-monthly Town Halls
Manage ASOS internal channels
Work with the IC Manager to deliver strategic messages via our internal channels (Populo, Workplace, ASOS Home, Big 5, High 5 ASOs Voices Live, Exec thoughts, Snapshot)
Write, curate, publish and host content for the aforementioned channels
Requirements:
A specialisation in internal comms, ideally in a 21st century business and a PLC
Passion for, and knowledge of, ASOS, fashion, tech and online retail
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the confidence to interact with, and challenge, senior management
Experience of managing all-staff comms
Highly experienced IC professional in a fast-paced, creative environment
Evidence of recruiting, managing and developing direct reports
Able to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time
Excellent stakeholder management
Creative eye – able to manage creative projects; ability to use Adobe Creative Suite and create videos preferable
Excellent writer who can adapt to the ASOS tone of voice
Ideally experience of working in a modern retail environment
A knowledge of Facebook at Work, Populo, Sharepoint and other content management systems
