THE ROLE

As a Commercial Partnerships Insight Analyst at ASOS, you will be supporting the Commercial Buying and Merchandising teams and Management Teams in ensuring the strategic partners receive relevant and timely insight relating to their brands and customers. While you report to the central insight team, you will be fully embedded in the Commercial Partnerships team. This will ensure the insight you deliver has all business and stakeholder context while benefitting from an analytics peer group to learn from and develop with. You will be a fundamental part of the wider cross functional Business team and help contribute to the success of ASOS.

THE TEAM

Our Commercial Operations team works cross functionally to strive to deliver smarter ways of working and maximise efficiencies. You will be working with the Head of Partnerships and the rest of the team to support our mission of becoming the world’s number one destination for fashion-loving 20-somethings.

The ultimate goal of the Insight & Analytics team at Asos is to drive value from data. We partner with stakeholders to solve complex business problems by interrogating, interpreting and synthesising information about our customers, products, onsite experience and marketing, in light of market intelligence and strategic context to generate strategic insights. We ensure our decisions are focussed on fashion loving 20 somethings globally and support our short- and long-term financial targets. We love pushing the boundaries of our technical capabilities and championing a test and learn mindset. The ASOS customer is at the heart of everything we do.

You will be…

• Generating insight that gives brands an understanding of their ASOS customer and how they interact with the site and the products
• Work with the partnerships teams and the brands to surface missed sales opportunities, new product launches and further ways to grow the brands and customer base at ASOS
• Work with the partnerships team to help define the right success metrics and drivers
• Working with head of partnerships and 3rd party brands to define data and reporting requirements
• Working with data services to design, build and automate data transfer and dashboards
• Working with the Head of Partnerships to prioritise insight requests for brands
• Building strong working relationships both internally and externally to set yourself up for success

• Proactive approach and enthusiasm for building relationships, sharing ideas and solving problems
• Experience working in an analytical role, with a track record of delivering insight to inform commercial decisions
• Understanding of and keen interest in retail is essential, previous retail experience would be desirable
• Highly numerate and strong attention to detail
• Able to communicate information clearly and concisely
• Good project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities as needed
• Strong SQL skills
• Web Analytics skills (Adobe, Google Analytics) preferred
