Job Description

In this role, you'll provide expert level advice and consultation to business leaders in the areas of talent selection, organizational and individual development, employee relations, and cultural experience.  As a HR strategic partner for your functional customers, you'll develop ongoing relationships and represent HR related opportunities and challenges in both strategic and day to day activities, engaging other HR teams (Shared Services/COEs) as needed for support.   

Every day is different, but you can expect these activities among your responsibilities:

  • Analyzing people metrics/KPIs and providing recommendations and solutions

  • Enhancing our talent through needs definition, sourcing support, and selection guidance

  • Assisting with workforce planning and strategies and initiatives in support of talent management and succession planning

  • Evaluating leadership development opportunities and helping leaders navigate resources and tools to support their employees

  • Coaching both managers and employees on performance management and employee relations issues

  • Supporting Diversity and Inclusion initiatives

  • Investigating reported complaints and determining course of action

  • Assisting leaders by increasing their understanding of HR practices and policies affecting their business needs and employee life cycle

  • Educating employees and leadership teams on benefits available to employees, such as retirement plans, benefits, wellness initiatives

  • Monitoring regulatory requirements and providing guidance to leaders to increase compliance and reduce risk 

Our leading candidate will have:

  • Four or more years of HR generalist experience 

  • Advanced knowledge of employment law and regulations

  • Working understanding of affirmative action plans and EEOC compliance

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • SPHR or PHR certificate preferred

  • Proficiency with office software (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations); MS Office, Google tools, or equivalent

  • Familiarity with HRIS applications

  • Ability to work with confidential information
