THE HRBP ROLE:
We are looking for a HRBP to reinforce the Human Resources department of the French entity. You will be in charge of several organizations for which you will be the privileged point of contact of our managers. You will equip and advise them so that they deliver the business objectives expected by the company, support the development and engagement of their employees and contribute to maintaining a great place to work.
You will coordinate or contribute to multiple HR projects aimed at improving our operational efficiency, enhancing the employee experience or strengthening our compliance. You will participate in the definition of the HR strategy and the continuous improvement of our practices.
As a generalist in the HR function, you will rely on our HR centers of expertise and our shared services center to deliver a high level of service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish HR as a key constituent of the overall business: The Human Resources
Business Partner will act as a business partner to the organizations/client groups S/he will be responsible for and effectively dovetailing HR with business planning as well as day-to-day operations with a vision to foresee opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Advise managers on people imperatives: people engagement, compliance, headcount
planning, skill development, performance management, compensation and proposes action plans and interventions
- Develop and implement innovative HR policies/processes and drive HR projects: The HRBP will be required to develop / localize HR policies in alignment with our overall HR strategy and compliance to our local regulations. S/He will drive for France HR projects and contribute to different projects/tasks forces with his colleagues from HR and from the business.
- Reinforce a deeply performance oriented culture: The HRBP will need to set the tone towards supporting a high performance culture based on ‘best in class’ standards. S/he will facilitate the development of high performance teams through manager’s coaching, clarity of roles and responsibilities, clarity of goals and expectations, skill building and development, productivity enhancement – through both people and structure focused interventions.
- Support talent development and management: with a sound understanding of tthe business dynamics, market forces and local talent trends, s/he will contribute to the people agenda and help building and delivering a strong value proposition to onboard, develop and retain the best talent.
- Support a compliant environment: The individual will contribute to the development and enforcement of an environment that respects company and country regulations.
- Contribute to a positive dialogue with the employee representatives: The individual will facilitate discussions/negotiations with employee representatives (works councils, unions, health and safety committee)
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR policies and practices
and understand the landscape to continuously drive further improvements.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Gravitas and natural leadership: The individual should have the stature and credibility to command respect and acceptance and be able to deal with organizational complexity and matrixed structures (local & global) by being a strong influencer. S/he should have the ability to understand business, constantly question the value-add and develop innovative solutions to partners in the organization.
Results and Customer Orientations, hands-on approach with the ability to deal simultaneously with multiple projects/business units/cases to manage.
Demonstrated ability to actively engage the wider team to help form specific decisions and plans, resolve issues through collaborative problem solving.
Ability to lead and drive change in the organization by effectively championing a change management mind-set across the business, identifying potential points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
Great personal and team leadership and takes an active role in ensuring the HR Operating Model is embedded successfully; collaborates as one HR team
The individual must be a “doer†with a high level of initiative and drive, method and strong priority management, and the maturity and credibility to lead initiatives in HR sub-functions.
Exhibit flexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem solving skills – thinking ‘outside of the box’ and oscillating between the big picture and details.
A transparent, open professional who shares information and has a very strong operating discipline.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS :
Master’s degree/ Bac+5 in Human Resources Management
10 + years HRBP role in an international company – several years’ experience in the IT industry or Services companies in large complex organisation(s) with multiple stakeholders (including matrix relationships and work with HR shared services)
Strong labour law expertise / labour law qualification
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in English, first language at work
