Fidelity has new opportunities for remote Full Stack Software Engineers. While the position is remote, you are required to live in the Greater Washington, DC area. You’ll have full access to virtual training and learning opportunities, plus dynamic working resources to help you stay connected.

Your Role

At Fidelity, you will have the opportunity to share your technical knowledge to help strengthen our engineering community and further pursue your own learning of new technologies and platforms. We're looking for Full Stack Software Engineers that enjoy a collective environment and have a passion for releasing high quality software through iterative software development practices.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science

  • 4+ years web development experience with proven understanding of Java/Spring

  • Exposure to Agile development methodology

  • Experience using one or more popular JavaScript toolkits (Angular 10+, React, Vue.js, etc.)

  • Practice with API integration, with a strong understanding of RESTful web services

  • Understanding of how to craft, build, and deploy applications in a DevOps environment, leveraging CI/CD tools; Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy are a plus

  • Proven knowledge of Java and the open-source stack technologies

  • Insight into Cloud development and deployment is a nice to have (AWS, Azure)

  • Code Quality/Coverage Tools (Sonar, JaCoCo or equivalent) preferred

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, highly matrixed environment to achieve group goals

  • Passion for and desire to learn innovative technologies

  • Previous experience/insight using business requirements to develop technical designs and define architectural strategies and solutions
