Do you have extensive experience developing front end web pages using the latest frameworks? Are you considered an expert in HTML, CSS and JavaScript? Docker, Node, Jenkins – Are you willing to politely share your candid feedback on web page designs that you are given? Are you interested in building web modules that can be reused by multiple teams?

The Expertise We’re Looking For

Review design and requirements provided to determine what technology will be used to create an awesome user experience for visitors to our marketing web sites, calculators, and widgets. Someone who sees opportunities to streamline existing workflows and builds solutions to save the firm time and money.

· 5+ years of hands-on front end web development experience using HTML and CSS

· 3+ years coding responsive design web pages and coding complex Client-side JavaScript solutions

· 3+ years coding web pages that interact with 3rd party API’s

· Experience with Angular or similar frameworks

· A reputation of delivering unbreakable code

· Experience working as a key contributor on multiple time-sensitive projects

· A desire to help others on the team learn and succeed

The Purpose of Your Role

Code web pages, calculators, automation tools, and applications based on specifications and designs provided. You might be working on projects related to Fidelity.com, Plynk, Spire, Digital Assets projects. You may be building an automation tool that increases efficiency and saves money for the firm. Know that we expect excellence and quality work from everyone on our team.

· Hands-on development. Develop and enhance web sites, landing pages, calculators, widgets that support various service, marketing and educational campaigns or announcing new capabilities and products that Fidelity offers

· Hands-on Tech Lead. Leading a small team of developers to produce more complex solutions.

· Building Front End solutions for interactions with API’s

· Working with Tech PMs and Functional QA team members to get the job done right, and on time.

· Incorporating measurement and analytics code, 3rd party applications, dynamic content, and video player controls into web pages

· Mentor other team members to help expand their skillset and abilities

· Proficiency in website programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

· Understanding of key website design principles and accessibility implications

· Advanced problem-solving skills

· Ability to use client input to create functional, creative, and user-friendly webpages

· Experience with Node.js and CMS systems are pluses

· Analytical and meticulous

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
