This Senior Financial Analyst role provides financial and analytical support for the Enterprise Analysis team supporting CCI leadership. This will consist of building and evaluating monthly Capital forecast models, evaluating Capital trends in our business, and long-range Capital targets and plans. This candidate should be a seasoned contributor with deep understanding of financial statements and their drivers. This role is responsible for large, complex projects, with work that requires independence. This analyst determines and develops an approach to projects and is expected to review reports/and modeling with financial leadership. This role is fast paced, high-profile and requires multi-tasking.

Primary Responsibilities

Conducts research and analysis of financial data needed in planning, budgeting, and trend analysis to provide informed recommendations to leadership across CCI in setting and realizing profit objectives and identifies emerging financial trends.

Evaluates datasets and visualizes important trends using Tableau.

Performs ad-hoc financial analyses at multiple levels of complexity which may include calculations of rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, budgeting, cost analysis, and financial and expense performance comparisons.

Creates, rebuilds, audits, tests, distributes, and tracks financial models, reports and dashboards.

Recommends and implements changes; analyzes and reviews submitted data and resolves questions and/or problems.

Implements process improvement, standardizes reporting and modeling across functional areas.

Interacts as a team member, may provide direction and expertise to Analyst team.

Interfaces with other department members and may help lead special projects as needed.

 Qualifications:

Required

4 or more years of experience required in related field (i.e. Financial Analysis, Finance, Mathematics, Business Statistics); Or 3+ years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree.

Working knowledge of Hyperion Essbase, Tableau and Excel.

Advanced financial modeling skills.

Strong data analysis and presentation.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated financial and/or analytical experience including familiarity with concepts of forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation.

Detail oriented.

Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.

Highly motivated with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, particularly during Forecast and Budget cycles.

 

Preferred

BS/BA in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Economics, Financial Analysis, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Business Statistics).
